A Quick and Easy Moscow Mule Recipe
The Perfect Moscow Mule Recipe: A Classic Cocktail Guide
A Moscow mule is a classic cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime – and sometimes bitters. When perfectly balanced, the Moscow mule is fizzy, sweet, tangy, and has hints of spice. The drink itself belongs to a category of cocktails called “bucks.” Some speculate that this is where the name comes from: vodka hailed from Russia and the drink (a buck) gave you a kick – hence the name “Moscow Mule.” In this guide, we’ll share the perfect Moscow Mule recipe to help you craft this iconic cocktail.

Because Sinkology copper mugs are solid copper, they provide the ideal chill needed to keep your cocktail cool. The conductive nature of copper will help to keep your ice from diluting your cocktail and will hit your lips with a cool chill every time you take a sip. Additionally, be sure to hold the drink by the polished copper mug’s handle that doesn’t transfer body heat so that your Moscow Mule won’t prematurely warm. Furthermore, the cold temperature also helps to maintain the carbonation of ginger beer, ales, and other carbonated beverages, keeping supreme fizziness from the first sip to the last. Indeed, it’s the perfect vessel for the Moscow mule, and it comes in two shapes.
Moreover, their solid copper construction isn’t the only reason to choose Sinkology copper mugs. They are also bigger than most Moscow mule mugs – weighing in at nearly a pound each, these mammoth mugs hold either 20 or 22 oz. of delicious cocktail, depending on which shape you choose. With a price you’ll be hard-pressed to beat, a Moscow mule will undoubtedly taste much better from a Sinkology copper mug.
It’s a super simple drink to mix up. Give it a shot.
